Anastasia Assimakopoulos: A voice for our district

Anastasia is a mother of 4 and resident of District 8. She first threw her hat in the race for our district in 2021, focused on revitalizing our parks, public spaces, revising our urban plan as well as increasing transparency within the administration. She was elected with over 42% of the popular vote.

Anastasia has unique insight on shaping the future of Dollard-des-Ormeaux.

She earned her Bachelor of Law from Université de Montréal in 2014, where she was selected to represent the University at a national constitutional law case competition, the prestigious Laskin Moot.

Graduating with distinction with a B.A. Specialisation in Urban Planning from Concordia University, Anastasia was recipient of the Prix d'Éxcellence en Études Urbaines Cardinal Hardy as well as the John Freund Education Grant.
